There hasn't been any studies to my knowledge that an absolute correlation between smoking and cancer if that is what you want to know. We do know that when you smoke you are putting quatites of unknown and known chemicals into the bloodstream.  I switched over to an e-cig about 2 years ago and haven't had a single craving to light a cigarette since!

Big Cigarettes is very rich and ergo, very highly effective.  Not only do govt authorities make a money from taxation on cigarettes but tobacco companies now have to help pay for health problems brought on by smoking cigarettes.  This is about govt avarice and not about helping smoking cigarettes lovers.
