she has to truly WANT to stop... to be ready to be smoke-free. until she can honestly say she's READY to quit, nothing will work for her. you might try prayer.
my heart cries for her. Obviously she have been horribly hurt by smoking abuse. Smoking does kill more people than alcohol moking tobacco, first or secondhand.. Alcohol is more up-front and personal. Both alcohol and smoking should be banned.
