Pennsylvania could join a handful of states that ban smoking in bars and
restaurants if Republican Jim Matthews makes it to the lieutenant governor's
office.
The Montgomery County commissioner campaigning for the state's No. 2 position
said he is interested in implementing a statewide smoking ban in Pennsylvania

longtime smoker before he quit.
He said he has not, however, discussed the initiative with Republican
gubernatorial candidate, former Pittsburgh Steelers star Lynn Swann.
