Howard County (Maryland) Close to Going Smokefree
Howard County, 5/15/06-- Last night, the Howard County Council heard testimony
for the third time on smokefree workplace legislation. The proposal would
require all restaurants and bars to be smokefree.
If passed, Howard County would join Montgomery, Talbot, and Prince George's
counties with clean indoor air in restaurants and bars.
A final vote is expected on June 5.
