Dear Smokefree DC Friend:
Asthma is the leading chronic illness among children and the cause of more than
5,000 deaths in the U.S. each year. DC has one of the worst asthma rates in the
country.
Therefore, I have signed up as a Team Captain for Smokefree DC in the American
Lung Association's Asthma Walk, and I am recruiting team members to join me at
the Walk and help raise funds for this worthy cause. I have set a personal
fundraising goal of $100.00 and a team goal of $1,000.00, and I would
appreciate your support and participation.

register as a member of our team. The 2008 DC Metro Asthma Walk is Saturday,
June 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. The walk is 5K (3.1 miles) and will be held at the
Tidal Basin Area of the National Mall Park. . It is sure to be a fun and
exciting event.
The first 25 people to sign up will get a Smokefree DC T-shirt!
