Don't waive worker health.
The waiver language should be removed. Worker health should not be waived.
Giving a waiver to a business that shows a smokefree law "will cause" economic damage is a huge loophole.
If a waiver has to be given, it should be limited to a one time, one year waiver.
DC does not allow waivers for any other health law.
There's no benefit to waiting until 2007 to enjoy breathing smokefree air. Implementing the law is very easy, and other juristidictions can do it in 30 or 45 days. DC should too.
