Laws should treat the health of all workers EQUALLY.

No one should have to breathe tobacco smoke pollution to hold a job, because it causes cancer, heart disease, and respiratory disease.

Although you may not believe that your smoking ever hurt anyone but yourself, the reality is that secondhand smoke causes cancer and heart disease. Workers should not be exposed to it on the job, and members of the public should not have to breathe it when they patronize bars and restaurants.

Smokefree workplace legislation is a matter of respect and dignity for workers.
