| smokefree-hospitals-talk: Steps to implement a smoke-free policy The University of Michigan Health System, Holland Hospital, Northern Regional Michigan Health System and United Memorial Health Center have all made the move to a smoke-free environment on all hospital property (outside and inpatient psych units). Representatives from these facilities work with other hospitals in planning and implementing a smoke-free policy. A free notebook with materials (i.e., time-lines, policies, compliance policies, etc.) is a first step in assisting interested institutions.
